CONSULTING

Strengthen organizational readiness.

Strategic consultation for organizations developing, strengthening, or rethinking behavioral health programs, wellness initiatives, educational resources, team practices, and community-centered services.

Calvary De’Rosa Sampson, LPC-S, NCC works with organizations that want to move beyond good intentions and examine a more practical question:

Consulting is designed to help organizations reflect, increase awareness, identify gaps, and move toward thoughtful implementation.

Is what we are doing actually aligned with what we say we want to create?

THE WORK

Calvary helps organizations pause, assess, increase awareness, and align what they say they want with what they are actually building, supporting, and implementing.

From intention to implementation.

A healthier workplace.

A stronger program.

Better communication.

More meaningful support.

A more responsive resource.

A sustainable initiative.

Organizations often know what they want. The challenge is determining whether current systems, practices, resources, capacity, and strategy actually support that goal.

Calvary helps organizations examine what is already happening, understand what may be missing, and develop practical next steps for moving the work forward.

Areas of Consulting Support

01

Behavioral Health Program Development

Support for organizations designing, launching, evaluating, or strengthening behavioral health and mental wellness programs.

This may include reviewing the current approach, identifying gaps, clarifying program goals, considering the population being served, and developing recommendations for implementation and sustainability.

02

Workforce Wellness Initiatives

Strategic support for organizations seeking to move beyond one-time wellness activities and think more intentionally about employee wellbeing, burnout, capacity, psychological safety, communication, and workplace culture.

The focus is not therapy for employees. It is helping organizations examine the conditions, practices, and strategies that influence wellbeing at work.

03

Community-Centered Program Design

Consultation for nonprofits, schools, faith-based organizations, healthcare organizations, community groups, and other institutions developing programs intended to support the mental health and wellbeing of the communities they serve.

Particular attention can be given to accessibility, cultural responsiveness, community context, sustainability, and whether the program being created reflects the needs of the people it is intended to support.

04

Educational Resource Development

Development and review of psychoeducational materials, toolkits, guides, wellness resources, program content, and other educational materials designed for students, employees, professionals, families, or community audiences.

The goal is to create resources that are clear, useful, responsible, and aligned with the larger initiative they are meant to support.

05

Strategic Advisory & Planning

Calvary can serve in an advisory capacity for organizations developing or expanding behavioral health, wellness, education, or community-impact initiatives.

This may include stakeholder conversations, reviewing existing materials or programs, identifying gaps, providing recommendations, and helping leaders think more intentionally about strategy, people, capacity, and implementation.

06

Training Design & Facilitation

Custom training experiences may be developed as part of a broader consulting engagement when education, skill-building, or facilitated conversation would support the organization’s goals.

When appropriate, consulting engagements may also incorporate established training frameworks or concepts from Calvary’s Speaking & Training work, including the BRIDGE Model™.

Sometimes the first step is assessment.

Before creating something new, it can be useful to understand what is already happening.

Depending on the engagement, Calvary may review existing programs, materials, processes, or initiatives, speak with relevant stakeholders, identify strengths and gaps, and provide recommendations for what may need to be strengthened, reconsidered, or developed next.

The goal is not to create change for the sake of change. It is to help organizations make more informed decisions about what they are building, why they are building it, and whether the organization is prepared to support it.

Before asking what should we create, it can be useful to understand what is already happening.

Strategy, people, and wellbeing should not operate separately.

“The strongest initiatives are built where strategy, people, and wellbeing meet.”

01 What problem are we actually trying to solve?

02 Who is affected?

03 What are we already doing?

04 Where are the gaps?

05 What capacity do we realistically have?

06 What needs to change?

07 What will implementation require after the planning meeting ends?

Consulting at CDCC

Consulting is an organizational and professional service.

It may include assessment, strategic recommendations, program development, resource creation, facilitation, planning, and implementation support.

Consulting is not psychotherapy for employees, and consulting engagements do not establish a therapist-client treatment relationship.

Calvary does not provide HR or legal compliance advice through consulting services.

How the Process Begins

Inquiry → Consultation → Scope / Recommendations → Assessment / Strategy / Implementation

01

Submit a Consulting Inquiry

Tell us about your organization, initiative, current challenge, audience, and what you hope to accomplish.

02

Initial Consultation

If the inquiry appears aligned with Calvary’s areas of expertise, we will schedule a consultation to better understand your goals, current context, timeline, and desired outcomes.

03

Scope & Recommendations

If we decide to move forward, the next step may include a proposed scope of work outlining the focus, deliverables, timeline, and engagement structure.

04

Assessment, Strategy & Implementation

Depending on the project, consulting may involve assessment, advisory support, program or resource development, facilitation, recommendations, and implementation support. Each engagement is shaped by the organization’s actual needs rather than a one-size-fits-all package.
